Chocolate desserts are the yummiest things ever happened to me and I think this is true for everyone. No matter how old you are, chocolate makes you happy with its yummiest taste and numerous healthy benefits. When you eat a chocolate it generates same chemicals in the mind that produces when you fall in love, so these happy chemicals called endorphins make your mood lighter and happier. Chocolate is being used since ages for different purposes and in different forms like chocolate bars, chocolate powders, chocolate spreads etc. It is also used for making huge variety of desserts including custards, puddings, cakes, brownies, shakes, ice creams, dips, and chocolate fondues. I’m going to write a recipe for chocolate fondue, which is an amazing fruit dip chocolate that looks great in get-togethers and parties, and especially in kids’ parties, because they love chocolate dipped fruits.
Chocolate is enriched with multi nutrients like iron, magnesium, fibre, some strong antioxidants, vitamins and copper, which has very positive effect on your health and daily life. A piece of dark chocolate everyday can help you lose weight, it can regulate blood pressure and lower the high blood pressure level, it reduces the risk of many cardiovascular diseases and helps to lower LDL i.e. bad cholesterol level and enhances the level of HDL i.e. good cholesterol level in the body. The chocolate also improves your brain cell activities and prevents against harsh UV rays from sun.
“Taste with health” is the best phrase that could describe what chocolate is. Let’s have a look at yummy chocolate fondue recipe:
- Dark chocolate: 2 bars
- Coconut milk: 1 cup
- Stevia for taste (or any other diet sugar)
- Fruits for dipping:
- Strawberries: ½ cup
- Bananas: 1-2 peeled and sliced
- Kiwis: Few slices
Take a large pan and fill it half with water place on low-medium heat and place another glass bowl in the pan (little smaller than pan size). And place coconut oil in it and heat until it melts, now add dark chocolate pieces in the oil and heat until it melts. Add stevia to reach desired sugar level.
Now dip fruit slices in the chocolate coconut mixture and let them cool and serve with cute little sticks in bowls. You can also drizzle with white chocolate or beautiful presentation.
