It is usually present in all berries but blueberries are a richer source of folate. Blueberries also contain anthocyanins. Anthocyanins are water soluble pigments and this is why blueberries are blue in colour. These are also found to be helpful in well-being of the mind. They are also linked to decreased inflammation which also decreases depression. Once again, all berries are said to have this effect but blueberries are on the top.
