Fatigue Cause No. 5: Anemia
One of the major causes of fatigue (especially in women) is anemia. Women may lose a lot of iron during their menstrual period that can result in iron deficiency. Red blood cells are very important as they are responsible for carrying oxygen to our tissues and cells.
Solution: You can treat anemia that is caused by iron deficiency by taking iron supplements and eating foods that are rich in iron, for example lean meat, liver, shellfish, beans, spinach and enriched cereal.
Fatigue Cause No. 6: Depression
Depression is not related to mental health only, it can affect you physically too. Fatigue, headaches and loss of appetite are the major physical issues that are caused due to depression. Depression is a persistent feeling of tiredness, disappointment or sadness. If you feel tired, disappointed or down for more than a few weeks, you should go to the doctor to get your depression treated.
Solution: Depression can be treated with talk therapy usually (taking sessions with your psychologist) and in some severe cases, you may need medicines as well.
